Prečo also known as Petra Tomecko was born and raised in the northern suburbs on Kaurna land (Adelaide). Recently residing in Naarm while completing her studies in Music Production at RMIT. Raised as a first gen in a household of two Slovakian immigrants Petra grew up strongly immersed in the Slovak language, culture, and community, shaping her identity to date.

With a background in classical piano and marimba, Prečo now produces tracks that immerse the listener on an atmospheric and emotional journey. Using electronic synths, marimba samples, minimalist piano and droney beats to create ambient soundscapes that paint a world for the listener. Taking influences from artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sofie Birch, Liam Mour and Nailah Hunter.
